The formula helps to cleanse the urinary tract of toxins. The ingredients also improve cellular health and help to ward off heavy metals.
How to Know if you have prostate problems
Men who are older and those with a family history of prostate cancer should see their doctor for regular screening. A simple blood test, called PSA, can detect an enlarged prostrate. It can also show if there’s a chance of developing cancer or any other medical issues that require treatment.
If your doctor believes you have a prostate problem they will want to hear all about your symptoms and how long they’ve been happening. They will ask you about any pain or burning you have when you urinate, and whether you’ve noticed any changes in your urine. A digital rectal (DRE) may be recommended, in which a finger is placed on your prostate with a lubricated glove from inside your rectum. This procedure takes approximately 10-15 seconds.
Symptoms of Prostate Problems
The prostate is a walnut sized gland located in the lower urinary system, both in front and in back of the penis. It produces semen which is used for the production sperm. BPH is the most common prostate condition. It occurs when the prostate grows and interferes with the flow of urine. Other symptoms are painful urination or a weak urine stream, as well as hesitancy, or stopping midstream. Some men with BPH also experience a loss of bowel control, which is known as fecal incontinence. A more serious symptom of the prostate is not being able to urinate at all, which is a medical emergency.
Medicine for Prostate Disorders
There are many different medicines that can be used to help with prostate problems. They can be liquids or pills, or tablets or liquids in a suppository. The liquid is then passed through the penis into your bladder. Saw palmetto can be purchased as a herbal extract or in pill form. These medications can either be taken by themselves or in combination with other medications, according to your doctor.
Surgery for Prostate Disorders
Surgery may be an option if lifestyle changes and medications do not improve your symptoms. The surgery could be performed by your GP at their office or by an urologist at the hospital. Your doctor or nurse specialist will explain the pros and cons of different types of surgery to you so you can make an informed decision. They will also discuss any other options available, including regular checkups with a urologist or your GP.
The good news is BPH and most other prostate issues are not cancerous. But that doesn’t make them go away. It’s vital to maintain regular visits to your GP and to have your PSA or DRE tests. These can be the best way of detecting cancer or other conditions before they become serious. And if the disease is detected early, there are treatments that can save lives. This is particularly true of prostate cancer, which is usually treatable if it’s caught before it becomes advanced.
